The purpose of this site.

This site is created with the intent to address the spiritual needs of children and youth, as apply in education, and in their everyday life. The philosophy and views expressed here are in alignment with the paradigm for the New Age, in short that there is a spiritual side to life, that can not be ignored, but is fundamental in life. This paradigm, and what is written here, is not based on any specific religion or faith, even though its foundational principles can be found in most religions. The spiritual side of life is even being discovered in science, where quantum physics states that consciousness affects physical events.

The site is written from the perspective of several decades of experience in working with children and youth, with the recognition that learning in school and in life is not only about pursuing intellectual knowledge and becoming proficient in outer skills. On the other hand, it is understood that these pursuits need to be built on a deeper foundation, namely that the spiritual needs and growth of children and youth need to be attended to properly. If they are not, then their general learning will be held back as well.

So, the vision is, that more and more will come to recognize that there is a spiritual aspect of life for all children and youth, as it is for everyone, that when addressed and attended to, will enable them to grow up with a sense of inner strength and self-worth, and which will help them to be successful in all areas of their lives.
